+ On the Plus Side +
I had been working
for a couple of years as an RN health
coach in an employee wellness program
when I joined the Patient Health
Advocacy program at NIWH. My patients
always have so many questions, and I
wanted to improve my ability to provide
understandable, evidence-based education
to my patients so they could make
informed decisions about their health
and behaviors. The NIWH program met that
need, and now my patients are often
thanking me for 'going above and beyond'
to help them truly understand their
health and options. I enjoyed the NIWH
courses so much, I decided to take the
full whole health educator program for
nurses!
Recommend?
Absolutely!
